Moana Digital Health publishes guides, field notes and news for ministries of health, health authorities, hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies and clinicians. This page explains how that content is researched, written, reviewed and kept current.
Sources
Every statistic, standard and guideline cited in a Moana guide comes from a source the author has read in full or in its published summary: the World Health Organization and its regional offices, the World Bank, peer reviewed journals, standards bodies such as HL7 International, SNOMED International and Regenstrief, and national health agencies. Sources are listed at the end of each guide and cited in the text where they are used. Where a figure is taken from a reputable summary of a study rather than the study itself, the guide says so.
Product statements
Descriptions of Moana products state what the platform does today. Capabilities in development are not described as available. Deployment status is stated precisely: a facility is described as live only when Moana is in routine clinical use there.
Independence
Guides answer the question first and describe Moana’s approach separately, in a section clearly labelled as such. Other vendors’ products are not named or compared.
No fabricated evidence
Moana does not publish invented outcomes, testimonials or quotations. Outcome figures are published only when they come from measured data, with the method stated.
Review
Each guide is written by the Moana team, checked against its sources, and reviewed for clinical and technical accuracy before publication. The author is named on every piece.
Updates and corrections
Guides are reviewed when the standards or guidance they cite change, and the date of publication is shown. Errors are corrected promptly. To report an error, write to contact@moanadigitalhealth.com.
Privacy
No patient information is published. Screens shown in guides and on this site use test data.
