Getting started
From installation to the first patient.
- InstallDownload the installer for your operating system and run it. Administrators can deploy it across every workstation in a facility.
- Sign inSign in with the account your organisation has created, with two factor authentication where it is enabled.
- Select your facilityChoose the facility you are working in. Features follow the facility’s service level and your role.
- Open your workspaceReception, doctors, nurses, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology and administration each open to their own workspace.
- Stay currentUpdates install automatically, and work continues through connectivity interruptions and synchronises when the connection returns.
MOANA Mobile
For doctors, nurses and patients.
MOANA Mobile brings the same record to the phone. Doctors run ward rounds and review critical results, nurses administer medicines at the bedside, and patients book appointments and download their reports.
Access is arranged through your facility.

Who can use MOANA Desktop?
MOANA Desktop is used by staff of organisations that run Moana: hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmacies and health authorities. Your organisation creates your account and assigns your role.
Does MOANA Desktop update automatically?
Yes. Updates install automatically, so every workstation stays on the current release.
Does MOANA Desktop work offline?
MOANA Desktop is designed for unreliable connectivity. Work is saved on the device during an interruption and synchronised when the connection returns.
Is there a Linux version?
Yes. The Linux build is provided on request for organisations that run Linux workstations.
