Platform · Radiology and PACS
Imaging requests, DICOM studies and radiology reports in one clinical flow.
MOANA PACS connects the imaging department to the patient record. Orders arrive from the EHR, studies are stored as DICOM and viewed in the browser, and the radiologist’s report returns to the ordering clinician inside the same record.
Requests are handwritten, films and discs travel with the patient and reports arrive days later on paper.
Existing PACS Where a hospital already operates a PACS, Moana integrates with it rather than replacing it.
For radiology departments, imaging providers and referring clinicians.
What it does
Worklist by modality and priority, and more.
Imaging worklist
Every study by modality, priority and schedule, from request through acquisition to report.
Storage and viewing
Images are stored as DICOM and opened in a browser based viewer over DICOMweb, without a separate workstation install.
Reporting
Radiologists report against the study, and the report returns to the ordering doctor inside the patient record.

Overview
MOANA PACS
Imaging requests, studies and reports in one flow.
Imaging is often the most disconnected part of a hospital. Requests are handwritten, films and discs travel with the patient and reports arrive days later on paper. MOANA PACS closes that loop by treating the imaging study as part of the clinical record rather than an attachment to it.
Radiology teams work from a single worklist organised by modality, priority and schedule. Incoming studies are matched automatically to the correct patient and order.
Images are stored in DICOM format in secure storage behind an access gateway and opened in a web based viewer over DICOMweb, so clinicians can review studies without a dedicated workstation installation.
Radiologists report against the study, and the report returns to the ordering clinician alongside laboratory results and notes. Access to images uses signed links that expire, and every view is recorded.
Requests can also be sent to outside imaging providers, with their catalogue and returned results held in the same record.

Every screen is the real Moana interface, shown with demonstration data.
Studies by modality, priority and schedule.
How it works
From order to report.
- OrderThe clinician orders the examination from the patient record, with clinical indication and priority.
- Schedule and acquireThe study appears on the radiology worklist by modality and priority and is acquired on the device.
- Match and storeThe DICOM study is matched to the patient and order automatically and stored securely.
- Read and reportThe radiologist reviews the images in the viewer and reports against the study.
- Return to the recordThe report and images open from the patient record for the ordering clinician.
Outcomes
What changes for your organisation.
Faster reporting
Worklists by priority bring urgent studies to the radiologist first.
No lost films
Studies are stored digitally and linked to the patient permanently.
Protects existing investment
Hospitals with a PACS keep it, and Moana connects to it.
Controlled access
Expiring signed links and a full access log protect sensitive images.

Can Moana connect to our existing PACS?
Yes. Where a hospital already runs a PACS, Moana integrates with it so studies and reports appear in the patient record.
Do clinicians need special software to view images?
No. Studies open in a browser based viewer over DICOMweb, without a separate workstation installation.
Which standards does MOANA PACS use?
DICOM and DICOMweb for images, HL7 v2 for messaging and FHIR R4 for the clinical record.
