Introducing the Moana Medical Supply System
The Moana Medical Supply System is now part of Moana’s national systems. It gives health authorities one view of medicines and supplies across facility, district and national levels.
Facilities raise requisitions against what they actually use. Approvals move up the levels, shipments are tracked from dispatch to receipt, and discrepancies are recorded at the door. Batches close to expiry show early, so stock can be moved before it is lost.

Monitoring and evaluation indicators are reported straight from live stock and consumption data, and issues and receipts reconcile with the client’s finance system.
Built to be configured
Supply chains differ in their levels, approval rules and reporting. The Medical Supply System is configured to each client’s requirements rather than asking them to change how they work. It connects to the Moana Pharmacy Management System, so dispensing at a facility draws down the same stock the district and national levels can see.
